My name is Beth Hickman, and this is my 6th year as the counselor at Gordo Elementary School. I was a special education teacher at Pickens County High School for 23 years prior to coming to GES. I have been married to my husband, Scotty for 26 years. We have two children, Taylor and Taft. Taylor is married and has 2 children, Mallory and Mattie. Taft is engaged and getting married this year. When I’m not at GES I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, sitting by the pool and going to the beach. I love being the counselor at GES and ALL the kiddos that attend GES!
