PATH

Peer Helpers is a comprehensive, prevention and support program that partners with schools to promote the mental health of our youth and teach them to advocate for one another.  It is also aligned with the school-based mental health model. The Peer Helpers Program features a multi-tiered approach to prevention and support that will address the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that impact them during this critical phase of their development. The first component of the program is called PATH - Prevention and Awareness for Total Health.

PATH lessons will be presented during Reach twice a month and will address the following topics - Bullying, Substance Abuse, Abuse, Mental Health, and Violence.

We are committed to your child's complete wellness and are excited to share this information with you as we empower students to make choices that will protect their safety, enhance connectedness, and encourage life-long physical and mental health.

Choir

Welcome to the GES Choir.

Led by our dedicated and talented teachers, Mrs. Guy and Mrs. Langdon, the GES Choir brings together a vibrant group of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who share a passion for music and the arts. Our choir is a wonderful opportunity for young voices to explore the joys of singing, learn teamwork, and grow as musicians.

Choir practice is a highlight of our students' week, with one practice during the school day in the first semester, and an additional after-school rehearsal during the second semester. We believe in balancing hard work with fun, creating a positive, supportive environment where every singer can thrive.

Throughout the year, our choir participates in special events such as our Veterans Day program in November and our heartwarming Christmas Concert. As we enter the second semester, we kick things up a notch with our highly anticipated Spring Show, which takes place in March or April and showcases all the incredible progress our singers have made.

Whether you're new to singing or already have experience, the GES Choir is a place where students come together to make music, build friendships, and create lasting memories. We can’t wait to share our music with you!
